01Acceptance of These Terms
These terms govern your use of chrislacey.com and its subdomains and the lacey.me family of sites (together, “the sites”), which are owned and operated by JetStart Consulting LLC, the company of Chris Lacey (“JetStart,” “we,” “us”). They work together with the Privacy Policy. By using the sites, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the sites.
02Your License to Use the Sites
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and use the sites and their forms, tools, and downloads for your own personal or business purposes. You may not copy, resell, scrape, or repurpose the sites’ content or code for another product or service without asking first.
03Text Messaging (SMS) Terms
Program. JetStart Consulting LLC (Chris Lacey) sends conversational text messages from (888) 375-4369, (844) 398-6900 or (803) 845-2400 to people who ask to be contacted — replies to notes sent through the contact form at chrislacey.com, follow-ups on those conversations, and help scheduling a call. No marketing messages are sent.
How you opt in. On the contact form, you enter your mobile number and check the box: “Yes, text me at this number. I agree to receive conversational text messages from JetStart Consulting LLC (Chris Lacey) about my note, sent from (888) 375-4369, (844) 398-6900 or (803) 845-2400. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not required to send a note.” The box is never pre-checked, and texting is not required to send a note.

- To stop: reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) at any time. You’ll get one message confirming you’re unsubscribed, and no more texts after that.
- For help: reply HELP, or reach us through connect.chrislacey.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your mobile information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
04No Professional Advice
Nothing on the sites is medical, legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice, even where a tool or form touches on those topics (see the wellbeing note in the Privacy Policy). Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional for anything that matters.
05No Warranty
The sites and their tools are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including that they’ll be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Chris does his best to keep things working and accurate, but these are personal projects, not commercial products with a service guarantee.
06Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Chris Lacey and JetStart Consulting LLC won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the sites. If liability can’t be excluded, it’s limited to the amount (if any) you paid to use the sites.
07Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless your local law requires otherwise.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.
